Terry Winchell & The Fine Line
Welcome to my website. Allow me to present my bandmates, my new musical incarnation. Jim Goodkind, on lead guitar and vocals. Jim possesses an impressive background, having recorded with esteemed artists such as Bruce Springsteen, Bonnie Raitt, and Van Morrison. He was a founding member of the folk group Milkwood on Paramount Records alongside Ric Ocasek and Ben Orr of The Cars. Jay Leutwyler on the bass and vocals. Originally from Clovis, NM, Jay was signed to the Atco record label at the age of 16 with his band, Group Axis. He has performed with various popular southwest bands, including Dem Bones, a favored ensemble in the Albuquerque area, which released several studio and live albums. The chemistry among us was evident from our initial rehearsal. By amalgamating my original compositions, our shared sensibilities, and numerous artistic commonalities, we have created an enchanting effect. Our trio's compositions showcase Jim's melodic lead guitar, Jay's bass sound, and my lead vocals and rhythm guitar, alongside three-part harmony and seamless singing on the duets. Our performances encompass a blend of my unique eclectic compositions and distinctive renditions of beloved artists within the Americana genre. Spanning from bluesy and folk to country rock, our music occasionally emanates an ethereal quality, coupled with numerous lively, danceable tunes. Check out full bios below.
